Doha (HOL) — Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met on Wednesday with
Somalia’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ali
Mohamed Omar, who is currently visiting the Gulf nation.
During the meeting, the two officials reviewed the state of
bilateral relations and explored ways to further enhance cooperation between
their countries. They also discussed the latest developments in Somalia and
exchanged views on several issues of mutual concern.
newsindieDr. Al Khulaifi reaffirmed Qatar’s continued support for
efforts aimed at promoting peace, security, and stability in Somalia, as well
as contributing to the country’s development and prosperity.
The Somali government said the minister's visit is part of
ongoing efforts to deepen diplomatic engagement and expand strategic
collaboration between Somalia and Qatar.
